Sarabjit Film is to be directed by Omung Kumar and produced by Sandeep Singh, Zeeshan Quadri and Omung Kumar. The shoot of the film is scheduled to commence in October 2015 and will be released at Cannes in May 2016.
I realized that content driven films are my calling which further motivated me to take up Sarabjit.
The moment Omung Kumar told me this story I said yes as somehow his life and my life had crossed as I had signed the petition. He did come to India but in coffin.
The film makers have now released a new song Dard, which will show you the soul-wrenching journey of Sarabjit Singh.
